It is a single stage, but there is a clear your can mix with it or another to spray after it. dont use clear on single stage. you just put the single stage on, color sand with 1500 or 2000 grit, then buff to shine. if you want to use a clear coat, then you need to use a base/clear setup. personally, i wouldnt use a single stage paint on a car .... I sanded down the panel with 220 and some of the craters are fairly deep but non of them go to the primer.
